Here's what I've been up to lately:
This is my crayon quilt. I just bought some yellow for the backing so I'm almost ready to quilt this. It's for my granddaughter and I'm hoping to get it quilted by next week. I can take it and add the binding during my visit.
Something for Valentine's Day. I bought the kit from Sew Lux, in fact, I bought two!!! Working on the second one as a Leader/Ender project.
I'm a huge fan of Downton Abbey, so I bought some fabric and used one of Andover Fabrics' patterns. Just not in love with it, but...can you see the mistake? I'm taking it apart as we speak.
Not sure I shared, but I finally finished all those alphabet bean bags and did a couple bags for them. Here's one:
Another...so happy that I'm finished and the kids are loving them. Seemed like a great idea and thought I could just throw them together, but, after a couple, I wanted to move onto a new project, so I did. LOL
This is my version of Quiltville's Grand Illusion mystery quilt. Still on Step 1...LOL
I have more projects and I'll post those tomorrow. I re-arranged my sewing studio today, so I have to clean it up a bit and I'll shoot some updated pics.
I still need so much help in using my time wisely and thereby, getting more quilts done. I'm going to be gone most of February so I need a hand work project to be ready to work on. Hmmmm.
I have quite a few tops that need to be quilted. Doing my borders on most of them and I'll share more soon.
Such cute projects! Love the one you made for your granddaughter and the Valentine one. Stopping by from the GYB hop. Hope you have a good week!
ReplyDeleteLove your crayon quilt, such lovely colours. Maybe I should make something similar for the grankids - trouble is, if you make for one child you have to make for the other two.
ReplyDeleteStopping by from GYB, no I cannot see a mistake! Cute Valentine X O! Enjoyed seeing your quilts.
